Now that is sad, another one of my childhood memories gone.

I always used to sleep up my Nan's house in the summer on the weekends and "stay up late" to watch this with my Nan & Grampa

RIP Parky travel well

Can not grumble to much at an 88 year break from non existence, an excellent innings from Parky.

This, my late parents used to enjoy watching Parky, so I grew up with him in my tele days as a young pup.

He had a unique way of interviewing all sorts of characters, some would say he was a genius of that era and I wouldn't disagree.

He seemed to have way of putting his guests at ease which then allowed them talk and open up. His last ever show is a classic with Peter Kaye as one of the guests
