Remember him? I’d assumed he’d gone to live with Lord Lucan and Glenn Miller and would spend his days feeding sugar lumps to Shergar and getting his fetlocks checked whatever they are.
But no alas it looks like he’s “done a kikarayav…kuckarayev…kookariavi…………..a Mykola” in that he’s turned up for the Indonesian national team and has played 5 games in two weeks including 2 games that have gone to extra time. He’s also chipped in with a few assists.
Any inside info as to why this guy has been completely shut out by our club? Seemed particularly silly at the start of the season when we had no fit full backs and he was until we signed him playing fairly regularly in the Eredivisie.

Tymon needed 4-5 months to get up to speed. N-A-O is much younger and came to a foreign land. Possible even home sick.
The decision makers should never allow these young guys to go home as it slows their progression. Borja did this and never got back to form. N-A-O should have gone to league 1 like Ogbeta.
Training all week and not playering cannot be good for a 21 year old player. |  |

Ha Ha, you can only fit so many people in to a telephone box, or indeed on a subs bench.
SC Heerenveen, haven’t used him much, but it’s not always about playing. Plus he’s now a full international. Who can say ? Maybe the hope was SC Heerenveen would buy him, it’s not looking likely.
Indonesia poster boy, I’m unsure why the club don’t make more of these opportunities.

So Nathan a jobbing young fellow of no real clout in Swansea is hobnobbing with the President of Indonesia no less (population 275 million). He was also talking to Erick Thohir friend and fellow investor in DC with Swansea owner Jason Levien.
He looked pretty good to me in an u21 run out. Strong and sharp. He could sell some shirts in Indonesia as well. Erick is an Indonesian billionaire who once owned AC Milan and now owns at least part of Oxford United where Swansea boy Mark Harris is player of the year.
In an ideal world Nathan would be brilliant and Swansea sell 50,000 shirts in Indonesia as was planned with Ki a decade ago (South Korea). Business is business. [Post edited 6 May 21:02]

Perhaps there’s an argument to be made he may have been one for the future but the fact remains he’s 22 now, he’s pretty much a third of the way through his contract and he hasn’t got on the grass yet. We aren’t currently in the position to sign senior age players and hope they come good in a few years. | |
