If there is a positive side to serious illnesses ,it makes one to realise life is very transient and we could expire at any time. No guarantees . If one has no life challenging issues or leads a smooth ,benign life,then it’s easy to take life for granted .
My missus ,ten years ago today got her chemo invitation to Stage 4 cancer .
She’s still here listening to me,arguing with me and loving me even though I can be challenging .
It sharpened me up for sure .
