Bianchini : The Swans loan player losing his way 19th Oct 2025 14:59
As much as people are now drawing their own conclusions on Swansea City head coach, Alan Sheehan many fans around the country are also making their own minds up about those players they see each week. Our first review is twenty four year old Florian Bianchini, the Swansea City forward player currently on loan at Portsmouth. 0

Swansea have wasted an awful lot of money on duds these last 5 or 6 years.
I can see a few big money recent buys failing too.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

This is exactly how I feel. As you probably know I'm not convinced with the current statistically based recruitment. Galbraith who in my opinion is our best purchase was by far was the stand out player and player of the season in League One. How much data analysing did that require. How many have we bought yet to make an impact, possibly the data is right but the ones analysing it are not much good. Over the years we have bought and sold players like Piroe and Downes at a profit, yes we made poor buys like we have this summer. So many unanswered questions, only time will tell.

He wasn’t even in the League One team of the season was he? Let alone player of the year. Hidden at right back for Leyton Orient. Fantastic pickup by our experts, outfoxed the rest of the league who have rightly received the plaudits for this window :)

I am sure our experts are very humble despite their success.

I’m not convinced by this. Stamenic looked fantastic in his first couple of games, now he looks like he’s playing too deep and with the handbrake on. Galbraiths influence seems to have waned recently as well. They are good players, but we aren’t getting the best out of them. I’m not sure the recruitment team can be blamed for that.

Apparently you are trying to manipulate the facts there to support your argument, so I have been reliably informed. Galbraith was actually playing in midfield alongside Pratley when we first tried to sign him in the January window. After an injury to Tom James at full back Galbraith covered at full back and stayed there because James did not recover in time to play last season. Meanwhile Galbraith continued to play in midfield for Northern Ireland. A thank you to the person providing me with the facts, you may actually know him.

It’s okay to be wrong I suppose, don’t beat yourself up.

You said in January when we first tried to sign him.

Prior to that and inclusive of the prior season he only played in midfield about 20 times, the rest largely at right back.

And never player of the year or even in team of the season. A remarkable bit of business wasn’t it.

You were just told that the whole prior season and prior to the time you incorrectly stated he only played around 20 in midfield, the rest at right back. I was even gracious and included the whole month prior.

Maybe support the club instead of trying to push a very strange vendetta, it’s even making you paranoid, don’t let it eat you inside. Refusing to give the club credit for Galbraith is embarrassing for someone who claims to be a supporter.
