| The Swansea Jack on 14:00 - Nov 19 with 1467 views | JJBomber | Went very well. They have 10 booths, named after previous players. Nice to see Ivor Allchurch getting one named after him. Angel Rangel came down for an interview. Hats off to Lee Trundell who went around every table to meet all the people there. He makes a great club ambassador. Mal Pope was compere as Kevin Johns had gone to watch Wales live. The highlight apparently was the ladies toilet upstairs, though I didn't go in. One other bloke did to do his make-up! Food was spicy Asian fare. Some people had 4 plates full while half the room didn't get any. Room for improvement there. There are screens everywhere for watching the matches, as you would expect. A nice touch sees two of the giant screens connected to an Xbox or equivalent, so that kids can play soccer games on there while mums and dads can keep drinking and socialising. That was a very nice touch. There is also a private Legends Lounge. Again, a great idea. Maybe 10 or 12 people in their own private room for a meal and watch the game. Perfect for birthdays or even corporate events. Final shout out to the staff, who worked non-stop all evening. It was a free bar, so you can imagine how busy they were. | | | |

Without doubt. There was an incident earlier this year when a schoolkid was taken by an older gang and beaten up by the stadium. Lee Trundle and Leon Brittain found out about it. They managed to track down the poor kid and invited him and his parents up to the lounge for one of the games. It wasn't done for publicity; there wasn't any. It was done out of the kindness of their hearts. Both those guys adore the Swans, but we are really lucky to have them. Really lucky.

Still brewed in Coventry, which is worrying when we have local breweries.
