Yep, big tides init, looked last night at the tides, looking very good for a few fish crab or fresh mackerel should sort a few out, Mackerel for the bigger Shirleys, lures daytime should be ok depending on clarity, then again I've had them on the surface in rough water on my favorite top water jobbie the Patchenko.

I've uploaded the photo to bucket shop, copied and pasted the link from there and it's copying the link onto the thread. You have to then click on the link to view the photo instead of the photo only being copied. If that makes sense?

It was just under 5lb and I must admit that I didn't return it. We had friends staying with us and it made a lovely meal for 6 of us.

Yes, fishing over a reef, that's Ramsey Island in the distance, the area is full of reefs at different depths. Using Joey mackerel as bait.

First time I went sea fishing last week,the sea was really choppy with big waves.

After one hour I could nt take no more and spewed my ring up over the side.

This kind of started a chain reaction and to my shame several men women and children joined in.

I hung on to the back of the boat for grim life while it pitched,yawed,corkscrewed and crashed through the waves while watching my missus at the front of the boat merrily reeling in a fish.

The trip was supposed to have lasted 4 hours...luckily someone pleaded with the captain to shove the dinner to be served up his ass and turn the vessel back to the harbour.

This he did albeit a full speed hell ride for half an hour.eventually we got back to the shore with people still wretching. Still feel queezy thinking about it..

So my days of sea fishing are over I m afraid....fuk that it s easier to buy some at Tescoes..
