Jury is very much still out for me ,made a bad decision tonight with pato ,but we have a real issue up front we are very poor there and as for wingers were are they scouting is awful, Cardiff had all frees better than ours [Post edited 24 Oct 2023 23:43]

I was lucky to see him up close and personal when he played herbies testimonial scored 2 screamers if I remember properly, ivor did the same in the game .

This in bucket loads ,that and we haven't a star player like a trundle to excite fans especially the kids .
We need a flair player anyway so let's hope Jan brings us one |

Well the first 6/7 games awful hoofball sheff Wed hard to judge as they really are bad,but Millwall for me was the right way ,we kept possession first half like before but went forward quicker and with a purpose far far better shape also, tonight I really believe could have gone either way ,good first half but crying out for a winger or flair player key in the first half could have bombed on like their fullback but was reluctant to do it ,patino is a lazy player had a great opportunity to score but lazily jogged onto it ,Cullen did nowt but moan at Yates and key ,and when we were looking under the cosh then subs by duff helped no end but I would have loved to see it earlier as it could have gone so wrong.
End of the day he's deffo here until Xmas let's see how we are by then and if OK we need wingers and or a flair player |

Right I've lurked long enough and read all the Happy clappers posts for long enough.
The dissatisfaction with Martin was more due to the complete loss of interest from him once he knew these yanks would not back him ,as has happened to everyone they hire .
He should have been sacked but wasn't as they wouldn't pay up ,but fair play he regained interest as he got the club area and fans and liked it here ,hence nearly play offs .
Then we go and appointed this clown ,Cheltenham WHO WHAT THE FECK ,from the day he got here he doesn't get the club doesn't live here so doesn't get the area or the fans 🙄
Is football philosophy was seen in preseason its bloody HOOFBALL nothing but..losing to rovers at home spelt alarm bells ringing for me you can't tell me they didn't set out to win that ,rovers did .
Yeah last night was dreadful but all his games have been ,no style ,no game plan ,set up and subs wrong ,and devoid of football and ideas
Some of these players brought in I think aren't overly great Yates for me is a headless chicken can't run with it can't hold the ball dribble and to short and weak for balls in the air
It's no good keeping duff here he's completely wrong for us and has to go before he nails us relegation

Yes we are on times overpassing in games ,yes it's to make sides knackered chasing the ball ,then we strike
But we need to be doing it a lot quicker than we are as sides are getting themselves set and then we become bogged down |

Grimes did nothing today ,from jogging back for gibbs goal ,to playing useless lazy balls back to a player under pressure or sideways for no reason
Cannot turn on a ball to save his life no pace can't take a ball forward couldn't tackle a bag ,general he is not never says a word never berates players playing badly doesn't even gee them up
About the worst captain ever ,a 4th division player at best
I could add more but can't be arsed
Downes is a better all round person for capt and player |

Cooper is having it right off to be fair with a side that's spent millions to go up but failed
The side forest had on paper was miles better than us today and cooper exploited our non pace with his pace
He did OK with us but we would never go any further with a team of loans not ours
Li think a lot of us at the start of the season were originally resigned to him staying as it was all up in the air at the time |

I for one at present will give him the time needed to really put in his plan .
He needs the January window plus the summer pre season and window .
But if we're not top 6 by this time next year he goes .
My only worry is the club itself is slowly imploding as the 18s and 23s seem absolutely rubbish now that worries me more as its our future |
