Chelsea Relegation Fears Grow After Palace Storm the Bridge 17:31 - Aug 29 with 4253 viewscoolranger

The natives in the blue half of "Fulham" are growing increasingly restless as Chelsea continue to splutter and misplace their lines. It seems the Champions' machine has a malfunction or two.

This latest home defeat, this time to a resurgent Crystal Palace, leaves Chelsea desperately chasing some form while Manchester City have already built an eight point lead over Chelsea.

Mourinho may just be starting to cast an anxious look or two over his shoulder....

Not going to be spending big so they'll slowly revert to their natural level - about the same as West Ham

Abramovic was so keen on FFP to stay where they were but it looks like everyone but Chelsea is ignoring it.

I NEVER FELT MORE LIKE SINGING THE BLUES...

Ah, today's cherry on Chery's cake.

Could easily have lost to Swansea and drawn with West Brom as well.

Lovely stuff.

My hope is that he hangs around long enough to see them fail in the group stages of the Champions League

Palace winning at the Scum. Spam winning at Arse and Scouse.

Ridiculous. Don't they realise these are bonus games??

Delaney putting in a captains man of the match performance and McCarthy keeping them in it with some top saves. The former a bit of an odd one with me. Thought he was decent enough but was allowed to walk out of QPR unchecked, a bit like Routledge and Blackstock at the time.

Yeah, selling Delaney is starting to look a serious error. Sold because he was "decent but we needed better in the Prem." And there he is and here we are.

Anyway. Teehee and all that. "Mourinho blames players" it says in the Grauniad. Makes a change after the doctor. Bet the tea lady is getting nervous about next week's game.

Delaney left long before we got promoted.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

He can blame the players all he wants , his the one who buys them
What does my head in is that no one brings up how badly he does in transfers
Felipe
Kezman
SWP
Shevchenko
Cuardrado
Salah
Falco
Del horno
Remy

All bought for big money by moanrino but all went backwards as players under him and been sold or will be sold for a faction of the price they were bought for

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

So he was, my mistake.

Still sold because we thought he wasn't good enough and now captaining a side at the top end of the Premier League. Can't believe he wouldn't have been better than Rio.

I remember him being played predominantly as a left back, perhaps we weren't playing him in his best position as he's now a central defender.

Still can't have too many complaints, it's not like connelly and gorkes were a bad partnership so it's unlikely that delaney would have improved on that if we'd have kept him.

As for rio, any of the three mentioned above could have done a better job at a much lower cost.
