Oh shit that was awful....didn't think Taylor was that sort of player. Hope Seamus Coleman is ok.

Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?

By the look of the still photo I saw, unless it was a doctored photo then it was unfortunately one of those horror breaks where the lower leg is pointing at an angle it clearly shouldn't be. Wish Seamus a speedy recovery. He'll be a big loss for the BIG.

Edit: Not a doctored photo unfortunately. Tue Sun have published every possible angle they could get of it.

For tackles like that the offending player should be banned for as long as it takes for the injured player to recover. F*cking disgrace.

And double it. Unless the injured player says otherwise.

Watched the game with a load of English friends and we all thought that Taylor's challenge was reckless but not an intentional leg-breaker. We actually thought that Bale's preceding challenge in the box was higher and worse, and that when he wasn't sent off that that set the tone for the next five minutes. I thought that Taylor looked genuinely remorseful afterwords and genuinely shook. No way that he went in to do Coleman.

Feel sorry for Séamie Coleman, a decent and genuine pro. Hopefully it's a clean break and he can heal properly and heal sooner rather than later.

Said to the missus last night that you've gotta hope it's a single clean break
That can heal / be plated and all relatively quickly; it's the muscle and nerve damage around the break site that take time
A "simple" break is far less an issue than an ACL

Unfortunately for Coleman that was miles away from a "simple" break.
GWS to the lad

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

It's a shame something tragic overshadowed such a dreadful football match.
