Less a postponed match than a stay of execution. Reading the match preview I was ready to give up following football entirely. It got so bad that I had to wheel out recollections of playing for my local boys team when I was 12 or 13....... for a whole season if we escaped without losing by double figures we reckoned we'd done all right. It was amazing the next season when we got our first 1-1 draw and then went on to be not that bad. When I was that age I suppose I never used to ask what the point was.

Clive can you do a match review based on the fact that we've managed to stop our losing streak on the road and how good that is for the morale of the players after a heavy defeat. And how Ollie feels justified in his formation as a result of the postponement and how he is drilling the lop sided 3-5-2 set up into the players by making Bidwell sit half way down the left side of the coach on his own. And then making him get off the coach at Watford gap so that Washington can get on but not be able to find a way past the driver. |  |
