Best individual Performances before and against 14:31 - Apr 14 with 3113 viewsAntti_Heinola

This is probably a better one - best individual performances you've seen for and against us.

For:
Lee Cook v Palace
Adel v Swansea
Barker v Liverpool
Ferdinand away at Newcastle
Freeman v Leeds
Sommer v Aston Villa
Onuoha v Spurs (man to man on Bale)
Austin v West Brom

Against:
Lua Lua for Colchester
Suarez for Liverpool (at LR, 0-3 to them)
Giggs for Man U (3-1 when he got the individual goal)

Ah, more difficult this as I couldn't give a fk about the oppo. Anyway.

Bare bones.

For;
Gerry Francis in a 1-1 draw at WBA, 1977 I think. One man show

Against;
Roy Keane for Forest in a 4-3 loss at LR I think. Another one man show.

Great shout on Gerry. Him and Stan were almost unplayable that season. Great memories.

Adel in a 2-1 defeat at home to Wolves. He single handedly took on the Wolves defence and midfield and it was only Wayne Hennessey having the game of his life that prevented him from scoring, he was like a butter through knife in that spell after we went 2-1 down.

The grass is always greener.

Lee Cook last game of his first ever loan spell, v Cheltenham I think. A man on a mission to score to the chorus of "sign him up"

Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?

For:

Ale Faurlin in 2011.

We lost 2-3 to City at home but Faurlin bossed the centre of the field that day.
He was up against Toure, Silva, Milner and I think Barry.

It just stands out to me from past games.

Against:

Same year. Andy Johnson hattrick at their place stands out.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Lee Cook against Palace in a 4-2. Made a case for on-field euthanasia.

Best performance I ever saw against us was Jamie Pollock at Maine Road, 1998. One man show.

I've got the Power.

Simon Barker Midfield wizard in FA cup draw at home to bagsnatchers i cant remember when

Rooney in midfield everything went through him completely ran the show can’t remember when either we lost

I know almost nothing about the Premier League even though I try to catch the big games every now and then at the end of the season. But I will say this, Queens Park Rangers is just a fukking sick ass team name. Just sounds so cool.

The best would have been Rodney away to Charlton in the FA Cup 4th round 1970.

We were two down & being slaughtered for 30 minutes. but then Rodney started playing! He scored twice before half time & then presented Frank Clarke with an open goal for the winner. The Rodney chant came from all parts of The Valley & It was as if the home fans joined us in acclaiming the maestro! (The ground held over 70,000 at the time & looked empty even though there was over 30,000 present).

An honourable mention for Chris Day away to Blackpool in the 1-0 win in 2004.

Against us I go for two that you did:-

Lua Luia for Colchester, but mine was in the first leg at Colchester! We won 1-0 but derserved to lose by at least eight!

Suarez in the same game, but he was bloody good in our 3-2 win as well!

Yeah I remember that well, wasn't there a Charlton guy lying injured when Rodney set up that goal for Frank Clarke. My mate with me (not a R), thought game should have been stopped.

Kinkladze for Man City in 96 (?). Think it was Maddix who tried to man mark him and did a decent job but still he was just too good.
