Would agree with that. The Moore films have their own corny charm. The best for me are the Dalton movies - more how the Bond character should be.

Agree with octopussy but QOS is decent. Daniel Craig is excellent. A shame Timothy Dalton wasn’t given another film. Criticised at the time for being too violent but then newer ones follow the same path.

Worse for me was die another day (opening scenes filmed in Chinnor oxon)however ‘the world is not enough’ Gets a pass just for the line to Denise Richards ‘and I thought Christmas only came once a year’ 😆

What was the one where he was surfing a tsunami on a car door?

That's not the kind of thing i'd have put in if it was up to me.

When they made QOS there was a screenwriters strike on and they were literally making it up as they were going along.

Not a popular suggestion, but I’ve always liked OHMSS. Didn’t think Lazenby was that bad, albeit that I believe his voice was heavily dubbed apparently.

Octopussy, really poor film and Roger Moore dressing up in a clown costume, sort of summed it up for me. Although my favourite Bond film is The Spy Who Loved Me. Thought Moore's first 3 Bond's were great, Live & Let Die, Golden Gun and Spy. Banging theme tunes as well for those 3.
