Struggling to love this club 21:17 - May 12 with 1556 viewsBlackCrowe

more at the moment. As young Crowe said the other day, it's feels like 2010-11 spirit all over again (he was 10 back then). Team, management, social media comms, Andy and Nick commentary, respect for us fans.

Please try to retain that squad going into next season. thanks in advance (and in retrospect for that matter).

You're right. It's not so much about the winning, although that's really nice. It's about the whole spirit of the club and the feeling about the place. Haven't really felt like this since before we had Palladini, Ecclestone etc casting a bit of a pall around the club. Nice to shake that off and feel good about what we're putting together.

What makes it much more special than 2010 is the youth players that are coming through.

Dieng
Lumley
Kakay
Niko H
Chair
Bettache
Eze (before he left)
Masterson

I doubt that 10 years ago than any of them may have got a sniff of getting close to that team. And on top of that I doubt that we would have been signing the likes of Willock and Dykes. Out of all the younger players I would really love to see advance next season is Kakay. Been with the club since 7 years of age and gets the club.

I've loved the last two seasons. Last season was better for me because of Eze but the second half to this season was damn good too.

Plus the Academy, plus the Community side, plus the identity-building, plus...plus...plus...

The combination of Briatore and Paulo Sousa made me kick the season ticket habit years ago, but I feel drawn back for the first time. 10 year old Master Sheen used to get upset about people slagging their own team and asked to stop going. He’s 22 now and wants up to sign up!
