As a paid up old git who has done a lot of managing I buy the idea that managers are invariably pilloried for stuff that isn't their fault and the number of managers QPR spit out makes it unlikely they are all duffers. And I really, really want Gaz & Dobbo to be given time to succeed and, yes, the psychology is important.
But, but, the decisions being made, the tactics and style of play are baffling me.....I have a long tether where managers are concerned, but just now I can see the end of it.

And we need a clear hierarchy and staff structure. No more over-reaching, no more confusion. The DoF is in charge of his/her shop, the CEO is in charge of his/her shop and the board are there to facilitate them with a "hands-off but eyes-open" approach. |  |

To me it feels like Gareth is Jack at the end of the Titanic, clinging on to the door, freezing to death saying, Rose, I am sure if you let me on the door I can save the ship. He's been dobbed in it without any real structure around him. I'm surprised that at half time that he's not serving the burgers at the catering stalls.
Before anyone says, he knew what he was getting into, perhaps to an extent, but not to this extent.
If we can afford to bring in a new manager why couldn't we afford to bring in a new DOF to support this manager?

It doesn’t matter who we appoint as a DOF or as a manager it will never work under this board they have proved since day one how useless they are , 12 years of miss management is going to leave us as a league one club |  |

A proper DoF shouldnt be taking BS from the board. Ferdinand should have jacked it in a while ago . He had a decent job though so why would he? |  |

The board are absolutly stupid.
However, irrespective of their stupidity,.
Though the Tmanager as a lovely lovely geezer he is the big problem at the moment and should never have been appointed.
I think it's as simple as that unfortunately. I think we would stay up if Warnock was apointed now

I was never in the hire Ainsworth camp but after Saturday he has to go.
If someone can explain what the game plan was then they are a better man than me.
If you want to go long then hit Dykes regularly and have Armstrong (who I do not rate one little bit) run off him. If its pinging in crosses from out wide for the two CF's to feed off them play them in properly to allow them to deliver.
But this reverse ball into the channel which invariably gave possession away was baffling. Both wide men had stinkers and the game passed Dozzell by.
I'd have more patience if I could see what we were trying to do but there was no structure unless they were told to make Blackburn look like Brazil.
Two many of the team had off days but as I said previously, for me to leave on 68 minutes showed that was the worst performance I have seen in 40 years of going to Loftus Road. |  |
