The first is a worldy. Nothing you can do about that. The second is about reading the game. Our defence didn't think about the ball behind them and it was telegraphed and well executed. The third is another set piece where we don't close down the second phase. People blaming begs I'm not too sure. First one no one is saving that. Second one okay you have to credit the striker but Begs has to try and shut that down. Third one nothing he can do. Smyth is unlucky with his chance in the clip. By 10.00pm Tuesday 9th April we were down to 47 points with a tough game away at Hull City next on the list, that's what we do, we do the hard miles and then we go and fck It up.
I make no apologies for negativity but It's the same every bastard year, we get within touching distance and then bloody sneeze.
Preston--Leeds--Coventry, I wouldn't bet not one single penny on us beating any of those three, not with our strikers anyway (strikers LOL).

Smyth just needs to take a touch compose himself then hit but he rushed it, could have done with Dykes or anyone getting on their bike and taking a defender away or being onto the follow up.
The first one he had from a lovely cross in was a much easier chance imo, has to hit the target there

Doesn't show the other sitter Smyth missed, about 2 mins after half time, when we looked fired up and Marti had us playing 10-15 yards further up the pitch. Would've made it 2-1...
Also doesn't show Willock's cheap concession of possession on the half way line just before the second - which I think helped catch our defenders a bit flat footed.
