Not a rant, not a moan- we lost and we will lose and win again!
My question is whether anyone else is frustrated by the apparent absence of intelligence or awareness during the game?
So many time we give the opposition the chance to fall over and win a foul where we could simply stand off and not give the ref the opportunity to be fooled!
If a defender is facing his goal line DON’T go up behind him as any touch will cause him to go down!!
Also Smyth ( twice) and Kone - don’t push the defender!

Why don’t our players understand this??

So many times today we did it!!!

Talented? maybe🤔 but intelligent in attacking situations 🫩🤔🙄🤬

Decision making is definitely a problem. So is not being able to maintain momentum for more than 15 mins( fitness issues?) I don't agree that these players are that talented, bar one or two. Our most talented players are sadly not available to play. Funny how it's always these ones that are injured...and not the less capable ones🤔

I watched with a non-QPR friend (which was embarrassing to be quite honest, horrible experience) and I said the same thing over and over in the second half. Absolutely infuriating. It's an inexperienced side in places, but you're looking for Hayden, Dunne, RND, Smyth to have a word. Hayden could have got himself sent off, and Smyth is about the worst culprit for cheap and unnecessary free kicks. Infuriating

Smyth finally boiled my piss on the Fred today. If he's not giving up stupid fouls, he's looking for them and so you'd think he'd know better than anyone not to lay a finger on the oppo when he's blocked them in down in their corner!

Never been his biggest fan, don't like the online abuse he's getting, but I'm done with his brain dead stupidity.

Is his contract up in June? If so, then seeya from me!!

Felt despite there being 100 better reasons we lost the ref and assistant on the Ellerslie side had bizarre games. But as a player you have to be aware of that and not dive in if it’s a ref who is going to be all over that or leave a bit on them (as their guy did with Madsen) if you can. Surprised in 2026 that was allowed though 10 years ago it would have no question been a great tackle.

Kone is bad for it. Defender going nowhere and he puts a hand that wouldn’t knock a small child over on his shoulder. You know the linesman will give it because they always do and you’re getting no advantage there by doing it.

Kone is bad for it, but I can kind of give him a pass for his lack of experience at this level. But there should be someone like Dunne or Hayden talking to him about it in-game.
