If You Were The Manager Of QPR 11:48 - Dec 30 with 1831 viewsted_hendrix

Would you drop Rob Green for today's game?

Assuming that Julio Cesar is fit, tricky decision.

If I were manager, I'd be sitting there with my head in my hands wondering how we ended up with both Green and Cesar in the first place.

I don't think Green has been bad since he came back in, and I didn't find him at fault for the 2nd WBA goal. Having said that, assuming that they are both fit, Harry has to go with the better keeper........

I'd play Cesar although tbh they both worry me when the ball Is flying about at head height in our area.
I'd give anything for a clean sheet for once.

yes, if he is fit, and training well etc...

QPR are yet again live on Brazilian TV today, 3rd game in a row, and I'm sure having some Brazilians in the team is going to help this trend continue!!

Play Green. Apart from the boxing day sort of clangarish goal(he was fouled imo) he made some good saves. We need continuiety at the moment. Since Green has been in goal i think our results have been improved, not sure on actual stats though.

I'd probably stick with Green but agree I don't feel too comfortable with either. Unfortunately with Green you get that feeling he's never to far from a major ricket. Not sure what Harry thinks of JC.

Very difficult one. My opinion is that Caesar is far superior, technically and in his decision making. However, it seems to me that Green has shown better understanding and communication with a more settled centre half pairing, in Nelson and Hill.

Green for me. By a whisker.

I'm looking forward to the day the manager doesn't make ANY changes in the starting line up.

I'd stay with Green for consistency - especially if nelson is unable to play.
I also think that Cesar has a blind spot on his right hand side - been beaten too easily on a number of occasions on that side....

Yes.

Green was definitely at fault for the 2nd goal and arguably should have done better fir the 1st, however, I dont think plyers should necessarialy be dropped for the odd mistake, he also made some good saves in the game.

Quite simply, I think Ceaser is the better player and should start

Cesar to start IMHO. Your own the shirt until you lose it. Make a mistake that costs us the game like last week, you lose the shirt. Same for both keepers

Definitely put Cesar in goal.

Green lacks mental strength and will always make mistakes.

Didn't see what Kenny was doing wrong to be forced out by Hughes.
We knew Green was suspect and Cesar isn't convincing either and his kicking is terrible.

Wish I could be like David Watts

If Harry thought that Green should have done better for the 1st goal against WBA that Brunt scored from 30 odd yards then I expect Ceasar to start otherwise Green will start.....the 2nd goal was clearly a foul in Harry's opinion so he will put limited if any blame on him.

Ceasar to start!!!!

Kenny was getting routinely beaten by long range shots last season and looked a shadow of the keeper he was the season before.

And Leeds have comfortably the worst GD in the top half of the championship - clue, it's not because they've scored fewer goals...

Can't quite believe anyone is questioning which is the better keeper.

Cesar to start for me.

Green reminds me of tony Roberts, much like the soup dragon, never far from another clanger.
