Lots of chat between a couple of supporters and players after the game last night. Anyone know or can even venture what was said?

Surprised anyone was still there.

Saw a young-ish guy (i.e. not one of the CP vaping yoof brigade) have half a dozen stewards pile into him as we were leaving at 5-0.

Not sure what was said. But pretty clear from their expressions the players were apologising. A couple of people were gesturing at Mbengue who didn't appreciate it and he was hauled away.
Mbengue worked pretty hard in that game.

Interestingly, when Mbengue turned to clap the fans - there was an appreciative "Mbengue" chant from quite a few.

Hayden was in prolonged ‘debate’ with someone and from his expression he didn’t agree/appreciate what was being said but it seemed to stay relatively civil.

That headline is a typical gross distortion of what happened from what I could see.
Still, nice to see omnipresent Polish Paul in amongst it

Classic example of someone coming up with the "funny" headline and then trying to make the story fit.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

Yep the colour of the shirt and Sam Field not playing is why we lost

“HAYDEN CONFRONTS FANS IN MASSIVE POST MATCH BRAWL…

…which didn’t actually happen in the end”

I realise that's tongue in cheek.

To clarify, we all know the real reason we lost was due to the change in match thread starter because the unwritten law is that the previous one should have "stayed on" having been a rarely sighted match thread starter, chicken dinner.

I pity the fool that starts the next match thread...

To be honest, it all looked quite civil; the fan talking to Mbengue looked passionate rather than having a meltdown.

What absolutely astounded me at the time, and still does, was the amount of people behind all this clapping the players off.

After that “effort”

Up to you if you want to do that I suppose but for me personally it’s another demonstration of how low our standards are as a whole club.

The players getting involved sits somewhere between performative bollox and poor professionalism (the latter is an art they’ve mastered)

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
