Clint Hill visits poorly young fan at Royal Marsden yesterday 14:53 - May 14 with 1863 viewsbosh67

Taken from one of the QPR boards on Facebook. Lovely story. There are still some very good people at our wonderful club! Young fans and players alike

Clint Hill, paid a special visit to six-year-old Daniel yesterday.

Daniel is a huge QPR fan and Clint is his favourite player. Daniel has been receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden after relapsing with a Wilms' tumour.

Daniel’s mum Karen said: “We are really grateful to Clint for taking the time to meet Daniel, it’s made his day!”

Clint and Daniel. Both legends!

Never knowingly right.

He hasn't read the script has he? - all this caring nonsense and giving 100% on the pitch.

Let's hope he can stay in the future in a coaching capacity - if we're going to try to develop younger players then it's hard to imagine a better role model.

Brilliant story on a gloomy day.

"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.

Great story , but what do you expect from a real man like Clint
Get him in as manager or at least assistant

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Beautiful story but not the least bit surprising knowing the character of the man.
If we don't sign Clint up in some capacity I will explode.

When we signed him, many questioned it.

Who would've thought 5 years later he'd be a legend and the last bastion of sanity at the club

the only question i asked when he signed was "who the fukk is Clint Hill?"

now ranks in my all time fav's list.

has the mentality & character that should be the first thing on the list of attributes for all signings. see's the game through the eyes of someone in tune with the fans and seems genuinely grateful that he gets paid to play football for a job.

big time manlove for Mr Hill

After we beat Ipswich 2-0 in Feb 2011:

Warnock normally saves his praise for the likes of Adel Taarabt but was happy pay tribute to his full-back.

"My wife says if she wants my son William to grow up like anyone it would be like Clint Hill," he added.

"That's the biggest compliment I could give him. You get what you see, every club want people like him around. Infectious."
