Nothing to be embarrassed about liking Shakespeare. I have been a member of the Globe for the last eight years after being dragged kicking and screaming to watch Taming of the Shrew in September 2012. From that evening I was converted and now try and get there around six times every summer, sometimes watching a performance more than once. It is amazing the amount of sayings that we use today that have come from the quill of the Bard.
Upstart Crow is quite brilliant and especially recommend the one where Shakespeare is having trouble with writing a Midsummer Nights Dream. |  |
