Boxing tonight
at 12:25 23 Dec 2023

Really looking forward to this tonight, superb card.

Hoping to see a revitalised AJ under Ben Davidson score a knockout around 5 or 6.

Hopefully Wilder will come through his fight so he and AJ can meet next year but I think this could be a really tricky night for him. He hasn't fought many top heavyweights considering he was champ for a few years. He also has only had 2 minutes of action in the last two years. Parker also went the distance with a prime AJ so has a decent chin. IF Parker can avoid Wilders massive right hand, I could see him winning on points or even a late stoppage.

Then Daniel Dubois, I really hope he destroys Miller tonight. He's got the power but has he got the stamina should it go the distance?

Finally Bivol who beat Canelo, what a fighter he is, unfortunately I don't give Arthur much of a chance.

Exciting and it's on at a reasonable hour

Eastleigh striker V Reading

Impressed with Paul McCullum currently playing for Eastleigh against the fakes. Appreciate he's non-league, but he puts himself about well, has won lots of headers and took his goal really well.

Worth a gamble?

at 13:12 22 Jun 2022

Late notice, but my Son bought a ticket to see Liam Gallagher ticket in Belfast this Friday 24 June, but now cannot go.

So if anyone is interested, I believe the face value is £50 and he is looking for £35.

Steve Palmer - University Challenge tonight

Steve apparently is the only Cambridge graduate to play in the premiership.

Got a bit of a thrashing tonight, but I guess playing for QPR he's probably used to that

Last night's assist
at 12:28 4 Nov 2021

Best pass/assist from a Ranger's player since Taarabt's outside of his foot pass to Rowledge against Covetnry at HQ?

To not only see that pass, but to be able to execute it so well!

Superb work from Dozzell!

My grandparents used to own this pub in the 1950's up until about 1970. I'm was too young to remember anything about the pub, but I was wondering if anyone on here has any memories of it that they could share

Why the media love-in?
at 20:08 5 May 2021

A week or so ago the "BIG SIX" were the antichrist of football and everyone in the media were (quite rightly) putting the boot in.

But this week Man City and Chelscum are in the champions league semi final and all of a sudden there is a massive media love-in for these two and everyone should be backing them as English teams. Bloomin hypocrites

Bollox to that, backing Real all the way tonight

AJ v Ruiz
at 13:13 4 Dec 2019

So who's your money on?

Being a Brit, I am really hoping AJ wins.
I'm no boxing expert, but I have watch enough to believe that AJ SHOULD be able to win. I think he needs to take the centre of the ring and use a very fast and really hard jab to keep Ruiz off balance. Tire Ruiz out and only then start looking for the big right hand.

Guess we'll need to see what happens the first time Ruiz lands a clean shot

Meant to give my prediction - AJ with a stoppage win 5th round
