Have they put his head back on, after Sessignon tried to kick it off? Didn't even make the highlights in MOTD.

It said on Radio Wales that he was ok, but concussed.

Thought it was clash of heads as opposed to his foot, but hopefully Fletcher can look back on that this morning and realise what a prick he was being.

Pretty sure the club sent out a tweet saying it was just concussion.

Good job we signed Fer.

Insert something witty here

Just concussion? 2 words that don't belong together.

If it is concussion he won't be playing Saturday. That means we can start with the team that started the second half yesterday.

I didn't see the incident, I was watching the ball, but the bloke next to me got a text to say Sessignon tried a bicycle kick which connected with Ki's nut instead of the ball.

Doubtful for Saturday.

Lucky we got that "footballer" Leroy Fer in.

If it's anything like the Graduated Return to Play Protocols in cricket and rugby then he could be out for 10 days or more, depending on when he stops showing any symptoms and how well he responds to each step up in his return to training. I haven't seen the FA equivalent.

Wish the boy well. it's more than just seeing stars these days.

Maybe so but that doesn't stop it from being a free kick and a yellow card.

Yep, Ki seemed to collide with the back of Sesses head, looked nasty, that at first that he might have done his cheek bone, thankfully not though.

Oh right, was just going on what was said above about it being a bicycle kick, fair enough if it was head-to-head.

Apologies, I was just quoting the bloke next to me in the crowd, didn't see how he got the knock myself.

Get well soon, Ki.

He played the pass of the match last night, when he was down in our left hand corner under pressure from two or three Albion players. He did one of his 180 degree changes of direction and, with barely a glance, hit a beautiful long ball diagonally across the pitch to an unmarked Rangel on the right wing, sending him away up the field in counter attack.

Such protocols are being used in all sports, to the best of my knowledge. I don't doubt a bit that the Swans use one whether anyone requires it or not. The club are rightfully very concerned about protecting assets, as Ki is.

I spent some time in the military in Korea where Koreans are known to be hard-nosed tough and proud of it.

I wish him the best and a quick and complete recovery.

Take a look at photo No 9 in the Gallery for WB V Swans.
If that is showing the incident then it is not an accidental head, it is an elbow.

Is the incident shown on the Highlights video?

This is the sort of thing we can expect from KI when he is on form. Also the ability to nip in and take the ball off the oppo's foot. He is not the type to go into crunching tackles coming up covered in mud and blood. Still a vluable player for us and has been contender for player of the year.
I expect we will get similar fare from Fer. :-)

There were a gaggle (don't know the collective noun for Korean people) of Korean girls near me who were in tears as he was being stretchered off. Wailing they were. Didn't come back for the second half.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

It must have been very traumatic for them. Poor dabs.

Well Ive watched a lot of Asian porn so I thought they were having orgasms at first but there wasn't any pixelisation so they must have been crying.

Agree totally - I thought that was an outstanding piece of play. It was so sad he went off as he was having a stormer. His link play, movement and use of space were exceptional. He gets a rough deal from a lot on here but not from me. I think he is one of our most talented ball players. On the stream I was watching the commentator drooled: "Ki makes the game look so easy at times. So comfortable on the ball."

Ask Sunderland If they'd like him back - they'd bite your arm off.

The only reason he's had a bit of stick lately, is because we know what to expect from him and his standards had dropped, last night looked like he had turned that corner and was on his way back to his classy best, gutted for him, hope he returns with the same confidence as last night.
