I'll be glad when we're rid of him, that'll be all the big earning muppets gone and hopefully less headlines for us, assuming Ravel behaves himself...

Load of pointless waffle about uninteresting nonentities.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Probably up there as one of the most disappointing signings of the Bungle Confetti Years.

This lad had it all, should've been an England regular and used us as a springboard to get one of the top six clubs to buy him.

Scandalously pi$$ed it all away and it'll be a long, long slog back for him if he ever makes it.
Bombed at the scouse and the saints and taken us for idiots.

Spoke to a Taff pre-Swansea game long time back and he said this dick's attitude was well known and the reason why both the Swans and Cardiv didn't shed too many tears when he left them for decent money.
We get left with a bar bill and lager stained pair of Dryworld shorts

TYPICAL

Does it say Rot In Hull on the back?

Never knowingly right.

Let's be honest though, who thought it was a bad signing at the time?

Other than Swansea / Cardiff.

At the time, I believe there were rumors of Palace swooping and I started moaning at Ian Taylor on Twitter about how we absolutely must get this deal across the line.

God, Twitter is stupid.

Same as Fer, Mutch, Mccarthy, Vargas and Isla, they all looked good signings at the time

Yup. Better managed, that team should have had enough to stay up.

That's what makes him even more disappointing

I was raving about this signing. I didn't know about his extra curricular activities but I'm sure people within the game would've.... perhaps we did and thought we'd be able to get him back on da straite and narra?

What's certain is that he's finished here and will be at the top level if anyone has any sense.

McCarthy, gosh who he? Wonder if he regrets leaving us. Only played 7 matches since he went, whereas Smithies is now a bit of a QPR hero with tons of experience under his belt and being noticed by commentators and other clubs.

Much better to keep warm with models in Richmond than freeze your bits off on the playing fields of Russia.
