May only get a point from this, but the performance is there. We haven't looked like this in a while.

Stoke fans are a joke, they boo Chico. They wind up our players for being slily kicked. Yet they boo when there is a good strong fair tackle.

Laudrup to replace Moyes ?
at 19:46 9 Feb 2014

I don't think Laudrup will go to a top club immediately now, he needs to take a club like ourselves and repeat what he has done here and at the other clubs he has managed.

I still believe he is a good manager and that wherever he goes he will be successful. He was turning us into something we are not, and when you listen to one of the interviews with Monk, it's so obvious that it was the right thing to do.

I think it was along the lines of ML wanted us to react to other teams, whereas GM believes we should make the others react to us. Subtle change in attitude but significant.

ML always seemed to identify the games that we could get points from and in the Europa League we even played well at a tactically significant time. So the guy knows what he is doing, I didn't believe that we would go down under Laudrup. Yet I still thought we weren't improving. A club with a bigger budget and less loyalty to it's players may be a better fit for him.

I don't want the guy to take the United job, I think you get one opportunity to manage a club like that. Unless you are a Top manager.

Faner Dewi Sant (St David's flag)

Why do they use this flag? It's a flag from west Wales. They really do look up to us that they want to use our flags.

How does it feel to lose a world class manager?
at 19:17 9 Feb 2014

Bless him he thinks we play the BR way. Shame that he hasn't realised that it's the Swansea way that BR has adopted.

I hope that BR reinstates Liverpool to what they once were, he did come back in for Allen something that he said he would not. Yet the £15m he spent was well over his actual worth. Also in many of his interviews he still refers to Swansea as "we".

What you must understand is that we were a League Two club not so long ago, and we have already had 2 managers who the rest of the media cream their pants over. Oh and both have major weaknesses.

As for Laudrup being a better manager than BR, how many things has BR won with you? This is not a direct knock on BR, but you fail to see that under Laudrup we won something. Laudrup is gone now, and in all honesty I think he is a damn good manager, maybe lacks a lot of qualities that BR had. Yet I think he will be a success wherever he goes.

You may thing Monk has no credentials, but it's always been a possibility that he would be our manager. When BR left ML came in and GM was still a player. It may be that we will go for another manager soon, but I would rather GM at the helm than Bergkamp.

Just shows how far we have come that the LFC fans must come trolling, not long ago it was Boston United

Simple songs that can keep going
at 16:54 28 Jan 2014

Don't be impressed by the video's on you tube, I have seen the whole East stand bounce like the one in the st gallen vid. I've worried about the structural integrity of the stadium with the resonance being created.

I've heard the vetch field where the voices of the few would deafen a premier league ground.

Don't look elsewhere for inspiration. We are as loud as anyone, we have underperformed this season. More than any player. I have been as bad as the anyone.

I have a feeling tonight, like the old raw ones of the dark depths of the football league.

Let's forget about the other teams, think vetch, think Jack. Get it done.

Nice article in the Independent
at 22:11 24 Sep 2013

Because one day, and it's looking ever distant in the future. The "Bubble" will burst.

Hard work, vision, and whatever witchcraft has been done to get us here will I am sure the foundations have been set that we will be a constant yo-yo club for years to come.

Soon we will be tested, be it a transfer in or out, manager change that goes not to plan, or even the expectations of our fans.

The game against Liverpool recently was a eye opener for me, I went there and realised we were playing Liverpool and it seemed normal. What I mean by that is a decade ago a game against Liverpool would have been a massive thing, would have caused mass excitement for days in advance. Now it is very much another game.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself to realise where we are, especially when these donkey journalists revisit old matches against the likes of Boston, Mansfield, etc.. and recollections of snowy nights in Darlington rush to the eye of my mind.

Interesting "Scouting Report" from Bradford - whatta ya think?
at 04:29 22 Feb 2013

Routs not tracking back, missed the 50 yard sprints to help Davies out. The media and their fans are getting a bit too cocky with this one.

Thought as the premier league side we would take this one for granted and start the bullshit talk, the League 2 giants have already built a trophy cabinett for the cup.

So basically, it's we don't give a toss about opinions. If you have something to say and you don't like it take a hike?

Was just wondering how else I could voice my opinion, maybe a note around a brick. Though I would probably still need to hit you between the eyes for you to get some sense out of some of you.

See I am only able to reply by quoting the previous post, this underlines the poin't I tried to make. ScottishJack thinks that I probably want to prick his house now, which I don't.
