Be a consummate pro and gone from strength to strength. How he is not in the England squad is mental

Poll: Has the Ross Stewart deal already paid off as Nick says?

Who cares?
He jumped ship and plays for West Ham now.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.
Poll: Knowing what we know now, should we have sacked Hasenhüttl?

Typically when players leave Saints they're dead to me. However, I really look out for JWP and take pleasure in how well he's doing. One of my best friends is die hard west ham so maybe that helps? Plus if he doesn't play this summer for England and Philips does its a travesty..

Phillips is in the England squad because he is a very good defensive midfielder.
Ward-Prowse is not a defensive midfielder.

Expect Phillips to go out on loan, probably to The Wife Beaters, in January.

I suggest that he didn't "jump ship".

I suggest that the club had an offer for him and asked him to move so that they could "invest" the fee elsewhere.

(Probably in repaying debt).

Big difference between asking for a move, playing poorly to force a move, being disruptive to force a move and the club asking you to move.

I suggest he now plays for West Ham.

He no longer plays for Southampton Football Club.

Just had a look at the highlights, saw that Prowsey missed an open goal before he lucked out on the rebound. Typical of him. Good riddance to him.

For any (supposed) Saints fans who didn't know

PROWSEY LEFT US AFTER HE CAPTAINED US DOWN AND JUMPED SHIP TO WEST HAM!!!!

If he didn't want to go he would have stayed, he was at an age when he didn't have the time to drop down to the Championship, we took in enough money during the summer to not worry too much about whether JWP stayed or went.

He gave us good service so he doesn't fall into the Danny Ings category so i wish him well

Perhaps his early impression of our bearded manager genius put him off? Just saying.

Poll: Which manager would you prefer Saints to have?
