Get a police escort at home, apparently after one of those ‘meets’ was not attended by the away hoolybums.

It’s a big risk these days.

I can remeber ammonia attacks upon our away supporters from Bristol City hooligans in the 1980's, I cannot remember the year exactly, do not know whether that happened in the park?

I always found trips to Bristol Rovers more lively than City in the 80's.

Was there Eastville (?) ground in St Pauls area which was pretty rough back then.

Eastville was always a decent trip way back. Nowadays all you will get is a Billy book case.

Eastville was always a good trip back in the day. In my memories the place was always overrun with Swans fans as it was usually our shortest away trip. We once went back down the M4 in a double decker bus with no windows after some bright spark suggested a pint in Avonmouth which led to an altercation with a gang of bikers. Those were the days …

That big terrace behind the goal seemed to go on forever. Greyhound track. Hell of a ground. Unique.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Same happened to us @ Wolves.

Police blocked every junction on the way home as well.

I think another poster on this site was also on the same trip.

Memories 👍

My guess is that it would have been a supporters bus, as it wasn't that long after the game had finished.
If you want a Bristol players team coach done, then it's Swansea Dragons v Bristol Packers in American Football at the old Morfa Stadium.
