They bought it off me for a few thousand. Well worth advertising the hottest ticket in town. Just to think someone on here could have had it for under £50! [Post edited 28 Apr 14:31]

Not a clue whether we will or won't. If we play like we have been recently, not a chance. If we play like we know we can and are at it, which you would expect in these big games, we are a good side on our day and could do it. |

Perhaps. They also left straight after the game and didn't hang around. They were probably shocked about the performance that they had just endured and had to get home. |

Nope, club officials were talking about it off the record, I saw the helicopter but maybe they were visiting the city, who knows... |

Did anyone see a royal helicopter flying above St Mary's before and after the game? Some inside info exclusive here: Members of the Brunei Royal family were at the game after arriving and then leaving by helicopter. My inside sources were not told why they were here for the game. Very mysterious stuff. |

I think it will also depend on what the score is in the away leg. If by some miracle we are in the lead, the home leg will sell out I'm sure. There will be 5 days for unsure ticket buyers to buy tickets. We will all want to be there on the day we (by some miracle in a parallel universe) get to Wembley and a likely pitch invasion . The price of the tickets will be important though. If the club try to rip us off, the Saints fans will stick up two fingers. |

This says it all about what the fans think. It was an embarrassing lap of honour. [Post edited 27 Apr 18:22]

Leicester promoted. If Leeds c@ck up too, at least it wasn't only us out of the three who came down. |
| Forum Reply | Leeds 2-0 down at 21:51 26 Apr 2024
4 nil now. Ipswich win the next two games and they are up, even 4 points and they are just one point away from automatics, making our final game against them unimportant for both. A Leeds / Saints final at Wembley would be a huge ocassion though wouldn't it. |

Ronald Koeman, what a great manager he was for us. He had great players yes, but I absolutely loved his football. Sometimes direct, sometimes passing game. He knew how to get the job done in a game. |
| Forum Reply | Man. City at 19:17 26 Apr 2024
I have to agree 👍 Watching years and years of coverage of Klopp's final year lifting trophy after trophy would have been too much to stomach. For a change would be great if Arsenal won it, but as I said would much rather Man City than any of the others. |
| Forum Reply | Man. City at 22:08 25 Apr 2024
I would much rather Man City win the league than Liverpool, Chelsea or Man U. I think it would be good if Arsenal win it for a change. Anyone but Liverpool or United. |
| Forum Reply | Where are we at the moment? at 22:46 23 Apr 2024
For me there is always a root cause for Saints. The club isn't ambitious enough, it does things on the cheap (5 loan players, cheaper young players, cheaper unproven managers, selling Tella, Ward-Prowse whilst Leicester keep Vardy and Leeds keep their best players etc), then our owners just want to make money for themselves. All the managers lose the plot here, don't they? On to the next one. Sell a few more in the summer, bring in the next up and coming manager, let's see if things change. I refer you all back to root cause. [Post edited 23 Apr 22:49]

It's certainly telling that you want Martin out Nick. I saw these types of performances under Ralph, Jones, Selles and so it goes on. I have no confidence that our owners will choose an experienced manager next time. The club just has strange ideas about style of play, philosophies and the rest of it. Leicester kept their best players. They were far too good for us tonight. |

I think you're right that Norwich will finish 5th, which obviously would mean we play them. |
| Forum Reply | Leeds or Ipswich? at 21:44 22 Apr 2024
Leeds are very strong going forward. I wouldn't want to play them at Wembley. We would be sensible to make sure they beat us on the final day, so we can play Ipswich in the play offs. |
| Forum Thread | Leeds or Ipswich? at 21:37 22 Apr 2024
Leeds going up automatically will do us a favour now I think. Ipswich will be very down if they just miss out on automatic promotion after such a great season. We could beat Ipswich feeling sorry for themselves at Wembley. |
| Forum Reply | Play offs at 15:15 21 Apr 2024
Not much to choose from the two of them. I think I would probably opt for West Brom. We have beaten them twice. Norwich have had a huge upturn in the second half of the season Things are bright and cheery there and they have become a very decent side. The Norwich manager has won promotion before from this league and has experience. I remember playing Norwich at St Mary's 4 all. It could be chaos if we played them, and that wouldn't suit our slow, shaky defence. They have nothing to lose, have got into the play offs late on, and I think they could be tricky.
