My youngest son's neuorologist consultant at Kings doesn't want to see him for a year, after two years of 6 monthly scans and consultations following an op on his brain tumour, it's seemingly/hopefully in remission. |

My nephew's wedding in August, my mum's 90th birthday in October, the in-laws' golden wedding anniversary in November and my father in law getting the all clear from cancer in December. Got the call during my daughter's birthday celebrations on thd 28th. Great way to end the year. |  |

Dodging the Grim Reaper twice (massive stomach haemorrhage + subsequent infection in similar area) :

Thanks all for the kind thoughts and wishes about my son - he's doing amazingly well all things considered (the pic is a few years old now...)!
