Seb Polter came on in the 63rd minute for Union-Berlin against Leverkusen this weekend and was red-carded in the 65th.

He's been kicking up a fuss because he's not got a start this season, it seems unlikely he will any time soon now, horrible tackle.

I liked Polter, but we’re not doing Blitzkrieg anymore.

I agree on both points. And TBH if Union are going to stay in 1 Bundesliga they need better than Polter up front.

Jamie Mackie scored in a 6-0 Oxford win.

Sean Goss I think might now have more caps for Shrewsbury than he had for QPR.

Sean Goss is more likely to be doing the afternoon shift in his local Lidl than on any football pitch

The day after our friendly in Vienna, we drove 200km to Linz to see their friendly with Union Berlin. Polter was No9. He should have scored a hat trick of chances first half. It was 0-0. He did eventually score with a backheel but overall he was was very poor against a poor home side.

Started as sub for Sheffield United at Bournemouth, came on late in the match. The Manager had long enough to see him in training during pre-season so I presume he thought he wasnt ready to start, unless he is carrying a knock.

It will be interesting to see if he is a regular for a side which is tipped heavily for relegation. I would say is that the difference from the Premier & Championship is massive.

Seb Polter was perhaps the most poorly coordinated player I've seen in Rangers shirt since Tony Scully was haring down blind alleys for us. You really shouldn't be standing on the ball and tripping over it at this level. We did very well to recoup a fee for him.

The scouting during that Ramsey / Hasselbaink era was poor. Lots and lots of duds.

Poll: Should JFH get the sack?

Poulter was so limited and so overated......lucky to be a professional footballer in the Championship. National League, Woking, Aldershot, Halifax- he may have been better suited and his maximum level. I have played with and against better.

Sort of underlines how well we've done to get Hugill and Wells. Even with the likes of Eze and Chair in the side we'd still be struggling without quality strikers.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?
