We feature again Saturday as we visit Cambridge as Div 2 leaders (79/80).
This proved to be Stan's last goal for QPR (a right foot cracker)
(Sorry for the 41 year old spoiler)

The first mob of Scottish casuals, Aberdeen I believe, called their sartorial nemeses, the tartan-clad multi-scarfed bedecked fans, Christmas Trees.

We were referring to the scarf bedecked supporters as Christmas Trees by '77.

Very disturbing seeing Stans leg broken at Ashton gate. Same seeing Busbys at Fulham. Those images stick in the memory.

Half time at the tea kiosk at Bristol city was chaos. Police horses charging us down. Agree about escort to the ground, very hairy.

Hard to believe Bristol City and the local constabulary allowed fans to use the same concession stand, with no separating fence? That 10 mins was chaotic, rival fans were swept around like it was tidal, then the bloody horses! I was against the wall, thank god there were a few hefty buggers beside me.
