Any other early risers get to see it? Very odd, looks like the horns of a water buffalo.

I was on holiday in an official dark sky area in Scotland (Dumfries & Galloway) this last May. We had been there the previous September and the night sky had been breathtaking, with the Milky Way clearly visible.

This time, however, we had a problem: In May, at that sort of latitude, it isn't fully dark until very, very late at night

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
