Sorry, not very good with IT, but the attached photo shows a league table taken from a September 2000 programme (my son was mascot v PNE, 0-0, shit game) showing 100 years of the FL and each teams respective standing.
Since then we’ve had 3 seasons on the Prem and 3 seasons in League 1, so we are pretty much spot on!
If someone knows how to show the photo properly please feel free to do so.

More than likely Courage Barclay and Simmonds which became just Courage. The Magnet brands were John Smiths bought Courage in 1970 .They were also part of the consortium that ran Harp.

According to sn online calculator 16p - a pint of Guinness - is £2.38 today.

So it's approximately 100% more expensive to drink (on average) to drink Guinness in a bar in London these days than it was in that bar in 1971.

Mostly duty I'd guess..

PS. Fairly recently I paid £4 in the Whittington Stone - a flat roofed, but seemingly friendly enough pub.
