A few of us on the train from Paddington

Trains have certainly gone up as it cost us 50 return with a Railcard (booked weeks ago ) . A few years ago would of got a return for half of that price

yes a few years ago would have been half price.
the supporters club are charging £44 for their coach, don't know what ours is yet, thought that was pretty steep.

happy with the tickets though, mine was £19 over 60.
full adult is only £24.

8:43 from Liverpool, change at Crewe.

Don’t want to think about how much I spend on train tickets.

Normally go to Cardiff as poor sod mate of mine emigrated to the dark side, just living outside Cardiff but still sadly for him still a Ranger.

But this year we not attending.

Weirdly think we will win.

And if we win and am not attending, will have to stay away to keep the run going...

Enjoy the glory, all who are attending !!

Think the OP should change the title to, "Cardiff Roll Over Call"

Obviously, happy to be proved wrong, but Cardiff were unlucky to come away with a draw whilst playing the Champions of Europe in the first game of the season.

Whereas, we were lucky to come home with just the -4 goal difference.

Perfectly set up for an away win. QPR goalscorer: Begovich.

I've got the Power.

regretting not buying a ticket now as I have an odd feeling we're going to win tomorrow but train ticket prices were ridiculous, over £100 from Reading, will watch on the stream

Yep, driving down. Train prices were scandalous.

2-0 after 20 minutes and I'm driving straight back home again.

Cardiff are almost even money.

Surely that AGAIN is like taking candy from a baby.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Few years ago visited Cardiff away and me and a mate popped into what we thought was away friendly pub.

Was total opposite, so we tried to talk as little as possible to give the accent away.

Bloke sided up beside me at the urinal and in his Welsh way said , "How do you think the boys will be getting on today."

I thought long and hard and replied "Am sure they be fine lovely boys. " Problem was I felt the need to disguise my accent as a local.

Worst thing I could have done as came out as a cross between Indian and Irish lilt but was neither and just made me look like a right banana !!!!

The look this man gave me was one of severe confusion!!

Rory Bremner or Alistair McGowan, have no concerns regards myself stealing their thunder !!!

Good luck to all of you mad lot making the journey down there, I did think about it but it feels too much like a form of expensive self-harm.

Oh and don't forget to lump on Mr Bowler for first goal scorer...

You'll be fine most places, round the Bay is decent. Cardiff's completely different to how it used it used to be, actually quite a good day out these days. Or at least it has been recently, touch wood.

After the success of the bet last week I’ve gone for Cardiff -3 at 25/1 but I think if Cook plays it will be a respectable comfortable 2-0.

(Just to make you feel better), can I buy tickets for our end on the day?

Although yes we been terrible, with Cardiff despite their excellent result at Leeds, remember they finished below us last season and would have been relegated if Reading had not had six points deduction.

Problem being Aaron Ramsey there and he is quality even if age has diminished him a little, what we would have given for the man to be playing for us, in his position ie Aaron Ramsey or Andre Dozzell !!

you could, until last night when they changed their mind and now you can't.

There's a possibility I might have a spare but won't know until the morning.

I'lll be in the home end as a Cardiff native, with everything crossed.

I'm not sure what its like as an away fan being a native but i know its probably not as unfriendly as it used to be although the rubgby is also tommorow so town will be packed with a lot of valley knuckle draggers.

The bay Clive is right is a lovely area to drink and Elli Jenkins has some good beers on. Tiny rebel is well worth a visit as are a few other places, it depends what your looking for. Happy to offer a few suggestions if anyone wants.

I'd be wary of drinking in Canton as that is where most of the city fans will be and although its a much nicer area its probably not advisable.
