W Ham losing last night good or bad thing?
at 15:46 7 Jan 2026

West Ham would comfortably be the best side in the Championship, likes of Bowen, Paqueta, Summerville and Soucek. They are a crap Premier League one but so were Leicester and they pout 6 past us last year.

Whatever team we pick and they pick we'll be big underdogs, we lost to Norwich last week so I do find peoples confidence quite amusing.

The annoying thing again with England is another 100 on this score, which was achievable, and we have a real chance.

Our bowling attack is hopeless though at the moment, basically down to 2 bowlers now

you have to give them a pass on this, I mean who'd have thought December would see cold and wet weather. You can't plan for these things :-)

I quite liked the ending although I did guess what the upside down really was a few episodes before they revealed it so that helped me enjoy it

Not had mine yet, I've got 7 tickets, is it easy enough to send tickets to everyone else or does one person need them all

We take pre season games and resaults more seriously than we do cups.
The arrogance of it all is incredible for a team and a club who have no right to say we won't bother today.

We should just pick our best team, try and win and if we do that and lose anyway just accept it and then try and win the next game no matter what competition it is.

The way we pick and choose which match we will try in rears it's head again and again at this club and leads to days like Norwich and West Brom

Always worth remebering that no matter how shit the bottom Prem teams look they are better than anything in the Championship. Just look at Ipswich, Burnley etc. I fully exoect us to lose by at least 2 goals.

That being said if we get the first goal we have a hell of a chance.

Has to be our strongest possible team, no need to rest people, just try and win the game
I'd go with Field in for Varane if he's injured and think about Hayden for Burrell with Kolli coming off the bench

Those 7 goals have come in just 12 starts though, 28 subs appearances for him so far.

He passed the ball forwards which was a joy to see after 45 mins of Varane

On the plus side it might be a genius move to prevent Barry Bannan from running the game on Sunday

It's the whole Tommy Nintendo thing all over again, quite weird and bizarre behaviour.

Is anyone else feeling a bit depressed this evening?
at 12:18 2 Jan 2026

It's a tough one as we're all fans so when we play like we did against leicester we are top of the world and you serve up that tripe yesterday and it feels like the end of the world.

Always worth rembering we were not world beaters after Leicester and are not the worst team ever today but thats easy to say and wasn't how I felt during that second half yesterday

I've just seen a lot of stuff about how now the manager is awful, all the players are crap thats what I was referring to with shitting the bed. I think it's bang on to criticse the performance yesterday, we were awful but I don't think that should equate to we're gonna fall apart and we're doomed which feels like the vibe at the moment. I probably shouldn't look on social media but thats where a lot of it comes from.

From behind the goal it looked like someone had driven over the pitch, was huge dents in the pitch by the penalty area. No excuse for how we played but it didn't help either side.

We did this after Derby home last season and also after Luton away, pat ourselves on the back look at how good we are then didn't win again for 2 months.

I thought Burrell was the worse of the 2 yesterday, I'd have taken him off instead

every manager has one way of playing, can you think of any managers who change the system and style when they fancy it.

he started this season 4-3-3 but saw the players and what we had and changed it to get the best out of them which has worked.

I have a lot of sympathy for the manager, when he picks the same team in these busy weeks he gets slated for not understanding he needs to make changes, when he changes it he gets slated anyway.

We have to make changes to thht backline. Nardi came in and did pretty well, kept the score down after Hamer was dreadful at West Brom. Hamer is also out of contract now so may well have told the club he is off or the club are not giving him a new deal and looking elsewhere, complete speculation on my part but is possible.

You have RND who can't play every game so always misses one game in these weeks with multple games. JCS is out injured so rather than risk Cook at his age with 4 games in 10 days he played Morrison in one of them. He's been doing that for a while but with JCS coming in for the odd game when we were winning.

I do get the frustrations and we have been poor the last few games but it is so tiresome to see people shit the bed everytime we lose a few games. We're a streaky team who will be really good for a few games then really bad, is pretty much the same for every team in this league. We were never going to maintain the recent run winning 4 home games in a row, the key now is to get out of the bad run as quickly as possible. Earlier in the season we lost 3 games in a row and it was back to relegation talk before we picked up again. Hopefully will be the same again

To add to annoyance the game wasn't even on Sky. I switched over just before kick off and couldn't find it so had to piss about buying a stream
