Saints are hitting a decent bit of form at the right time, but we've been conistantly solid away for a few games now. Ronnie will be up for this!
It's got a 1-1 all over for me - which will be a very respectable result if we can go on and nick a win v The Blades on Saturday. Would delighted with a 7 pointer this week...

I've been reading through all these threads that are like someone has died and finally found a sensible post. Taken me best part of the day!! Well done Jez
I watched last night and was like everyone else, disappointed but I knew if I came onto this board last night there would be so much irrational tripe posted as people let off steam. Some is sensible, but some is just knee jerk (or people who only come here when we lose). We don't become a terrible side over one game. People have said he should have rested players but we know how he gets crucified for that. We are too defensive away from home, he gets crucified for that he cannot really win.
Hopefully we will bounce back on Saturday, get 6 points for a 3 game week and move on. I know I am considered one of the more optimistic supporters with glass half full (or delusional, or both) but anyone who says those players don't care need to cast their minds back to the likes of Boswinga, who ran off laughing when we got relegated from the prem. They are the sort of players that don't care. And so does the manager too and give him time he'll get there - Lets focus on getting an improvement on previous seasons and push on from there
A lot of the players last night looked understandably cattled and I think the only thing people all agree on is what in my opinion is the cancer of this club... Ben Williams. I'm not going to say anymore because there is plenty of discussion about that already on various posts. |

One thing that came to mind, confirmed by JS comments after their 4th.
Blooding young players for the rest of the season, as we strive for 16th. Morgan, not Varane, for Madsen; Bennie at HT; Adamson & Esquerdinha. All while JCS stays on bench with no sign of Smyth nor Cook. |
Thought that was more him accepting the game was done. Doubt being part of that car crash for half an hour will make Adamson a much better player but it avoided Vale getting injured or Kone getting more injured. Varane for Kone was very much a ‘I’m fked if this ends up 7-0’ sub. |  | | |
