Baker did have a couple of horrendous games, but he played in the 1986 FA Cup run (due to Gerry Forrest being cup-tied) right up until the semis and I thought he did ok. Unfortunately for him, he was dropped for the semi at WHL cos Nicholl opted to play Nick Holmes at right back if memory serves me right. Van Gobbel was truly terrible, although didn't he help get Roy Keane sent off at The Dell?
