We seem to have a setup that works away. Remains to be seen if it works at home or if we'll have to tinker. Expected us to be in the mix for top eight and not seen anything to suggest otherwise so far.
IF we get the mix right at home then perhaps we can push on further. Lot of quality teams in the division who will make top two exceedingly difficult. |  |

I think if we can keep largely injury free and rotate our squad cleverly we should be in the mix at the end of the season

The top two are likely to come from Boro, WHU, Wolves with maybe Norwich and West Brom as outsiders. Soton will be there or thereabouts but the -7 start will make it difficult for them to get top 2.

The fixtures have fallen very kindly for us. We have been away to the two worst teams in the league. We also had a home game against a team who hadn't scored. the great news is that we now have the fancied teams in Wrexham and Burnley who have started poorly. A great opportunity to pick them off before they gather momentum. Watford we should win and Lincoln is almost a gimme. Southampton away may be a bridge too far, but looking good. We'll have a much better idea after those 8 games. |  | | |

We fFfed about less today
When we do we cause ourselves trouble
We can kill teams when we put minds to it
Odd to see Burnley in bottom
Three and Charlton top
Early doors but it really might be our time

Definitely see us as capable of being in that Norwich/WBA pack. Boro too if we get our shit together. Could be a lot of off the pitch stuff that might derail West Ham.

Lissah and Welsh at the back have been fantastic
Opoku and Yeo have been great signings out wide
Widell is a real live wire
Moving Stamenic further forward has been an improvement
Eom played well coming on and man of the match today in his first start of the season
Our squad depth is now as good as any out there and we look a real force

There will be three or four very good teams, three or four terrible ones, and everyone else in the middle capable of going on good runs and bad ones. That's what usually happens.
Our job is to get out of the latter category which is where we've spent most of the last five years. No reason why we can't be contenders. Next two games will give us more of an idea. | |

The table doesn't lie. Last season we did similar, having played the two Sheffield teams, who were the bottom 2 in the league. We thought we were the dogs danglers. How did that pan out? So we'll see where we're at after 8 games at the international break. We are favourites for the next 2 games at home. We should be top of the league after 5 games. If we get a result at Southampton and beat Burnley. I'll buy into the hype. As of now, it's way too early. | | | |

It does seem as if very careful thought has been given on the players integrated into the squad.
