After seeing us beat Pompey just before Christmas in 2003 I went to see my mate's brother Magnus's band support Hawkwind at The Astoria, he's now a member of Hawkwind
They weren't my cup of tea but it was a night out in London and an excuse to carry on drinking after match [Post edited 10 Sep 23:15]

Having said that I did pay 200 quid for Billy Nicholls Would You Believe lp on vinyl, a rare out of print 1968 lp on Immediate that was re-issued, original pressings go for thousands now, my missus thought I was mental "when I already had it on cd"
Still buy loads of new lp's, mainly for Resident or Juno, got 3 coming this weekend | |

eBay was amazing about 20 years ago but it's full of people who don't know how to grade records selling things for stupid prices now so i barely touch it. Also living in london i'm lucky to have a ton of excellent record shops i can go to too.
I also still get new bits too, rough trade and juno are very much my go to there, and I've actually got the new ezra collective turning up this week and have the new erykah badu on pre-order too. | | | |

Is that the one in Totton? If it is it's meant to be pretty decent but i've not been in. There was a half decent one in Shirley that also doubled up as a pub but i think that's gone now.
