Any Philadelphian Rs or visitors to the place know of anywhere that shows Friday night EFL games? Would be nice to find somewhere to watch the game against the fakes next week
Joking apart, there are a lot of pubs in Philly that show English games. Still a number(not a QPR one though), of active fan clubs I believe, worth a quick google.

I’ve heard it’ll be on ESPN+. Previously I’ve been lucky and my hotel room has had this subscription. I am over for the ravens/Bengals Sunday night football game, but I fancy going out to watch this Friday 3 pm so I’ll be in Slainte …I keep missing charmR Mark

Philadelphia Rs? on 23:37 - Sep 29 with 1442 views
Cheers all, unfortunately I'll have not long left Baltimore by that point but sounds positive if its on ESPN+. Will have a dig around and see if there is a Philly Rs supporters group also
I can meet at Slainte for the reading game. There will be plenty of room and will have to wear an away shirt in case I get mistaken for being one of them.

Hope you guys in Baltimore ended up enjoying the game. Everywhere in Philadelphia has been baseball mad today, first time in the playoffs in a long time or something. So Ended up taking my laptop to a bar and using a dodgy VPN to enjoy it.

Anyway FCUK THE PHILLIES!
YOU R's!!!!!!!!!!
Watched the game from the comfortable surroundings of a Vietnamese VPN while enjoying some Pennsylvanian beers. Had no idea what was going on in the baseball but occasionally light applause turned into mild whooping

There was a better connected R's fanbase 25 years ago than today. Strange observation I know considering we're in the world of social media and pay to watch / listen games, but back then I knew of the location of lads all over the States. God bless the www. but it killed the camaraderie and knowledge of a couple of Rangers here, half a dozen there, the chance meetings of a few fella's in a bar, all disappeared. Probably the same for most clubs. In the Boston area, I'm aware of a few active supporters' clubs, particularly Liverpool cause it's hosted at a bloke I know's bar, and they do get a decent rowdy crowd for matches.

Yeah, we watched it in an Irish bar. I just commented on another thread that it was the main game on because we asked, but then quite a few people came in wanting to watch the US women’s team, which they put on the smaller TVs.
