Does he need a run in the team? He was one of the few positives last season but seeing much less football this year. Disappointed he didn’t start yesterday. If we are a development club, why do we start with Cook and Hayden most weeks.

I’m afraid Morgan is another one who is not going to make it at this level. The squad is awash with mediocrity.

That’s just a poor shout. He’s played less than 20 games showed good signs in at least half of those and is 19.

Still a believer in Morgan but JS doesn’t seem to fancy him. The midfield has been tragic for most of the season and he’s barely had a chance. Yesterday was probably a game to have him in for Hayden which means we will bring him in for Hayden at Hull and get steamrollered.

Might have to throw him in for Madsen if he needs a game or two out. God help us.

Is Varane ever coming back from this injury or is he just hidden away seeing it out until escaping to France?

Agreed!

In a perfect world, we might have kept SF and got KM out on a decent loan instead. He definitely needs a loan as do these Aussies to see if they're any good at actually playing football as opposed to being fit.

Id still like to see Messrs Tuck and Sutton brought into the fold for a good look. Think there looks players in them two.

Said several times of late: get to 50 points asap, then play these kids with the pressure off to see if they show something. After yesterday, these last six points might take some doing!

It's a completely wasted season for Morgan, which is no good for him and no good for our supposed development model. As a club, we really have no idea how to develop young players, we saw all of this with Armstrong who was being relied on as a starting CF and Walsh who was sat on the bench when both should have been playing every week at a lower level. It's pointless, Morgan isn't going to learn anything just training and playing 10 minutes at the end of a game when we're chasing a goal.

With Morgan, and Kolli for that matter, seemingly not progressing, it's a bad reflection on both the club's development strategy and Stephan's reputation. Both players have good potential but are underused and therefore stagnating.

At the start of the season I was keen on them staying to get first team playing time. Now I wish they'd at least got half season loans.
