Another comedian from my childhood gone. Loved the Two Ronnies though did not always enjoy his monologue in the chair.

Proper legend. One of my all time favourites. RIP.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Best theme tune of all time.

This is turning out to be the worst year I have ever known for losing the people we love and admire. I have never known a year like it. At this sorry rate, there won't be any us left by Christmas!

As I was just saying. Yet another one has now passed on. Andy " Thunderclap " Newman. 73 years old. Had a hit in 1969 with " Something In The Air " . Saw him play Piano at the 100 Club in Oxford Street in 1982 with the Bob Kerr Whoopee Band. These are very sad days indeed.

I loved the two rnnnies as a kid .... but now it freaks me out too much to watch. When Corbett dragged up as they both frequently did - he was the spitting image of my dear departed mum god rest her soul. Proper gives me the collywobbles I tell you.
