Apparently his big political ally is the ex-wife of one of the previous blokes, Samuel Taylor, who is currently doing 50 years in Durham nick for crimes against humanity and is one of the more despicable human beings to have walked this earth.
There's a serious possibility that Taylor will be running the country from jail - he was in trouble earlier this year for running his old political party by phone call from jail and issuing threats to opponents, with Weah being window dressing.
Who knew George Weah had dodgy mates?
Oh.
Still, I suppose it is of some comfort for those who think this country is a bit fecked up; relatively speaking we're acing it.
