As disappointing as it was at the time, I'd say not having to go to Arsenal midweek is probably a blessing in disguise. It's a fixture we really don't need right now in my opinion. We'd almost certainly have to have put out a weakened team after the efforts of the last week, and a probable tonking just wouldn't serve any positive or useful purpose in my view.
Any other thoughts?

Chances are we wouldn’t have got Arsenal as we would have had a different ball number.
Whoever we’d got I’d have liked it as we haven’t been this far in ages. We often hear that winning breeds confidence especially when there are cup games and it would have been nice to be involved for once.
