Cruising along having smashed the fake hoops 4 nil.
Games in hand.
The promotion target comes out from players.

Since then we have been rubbish. (P8 W1 D2 and L5)
Why?

It's pretty obvious what's gone wrong with our season.

On January 29th we were riding high, having beaten Reading 4-0.

Then prior to the Peterborough game Warburton gave this interview admitting his shameful past as a Spurs fan.

The footballing gods have been offended and we haven't won a game since.

The only possible redemption is for Warburton to do a walk of shame through Shepherd's Bush while being pelted with unpleasant substances.

You know it makes sense.

Reading for me was an outlier as they were so dire , and even then I thought we were sloppy in the second half. I don’t understand all this xG malarkey but if you listen to those who do ot is that teams get lucky for patches but it all sort of evens out ( i think) and Much as I do like our team that is what it feels like , plus

We are def missing dykes as he allows our best players to play
We now are missing Dieng too
We lack pace all around the team ( need to address this in summer please Les)
We look tired, small squad , legs go and brains go as they say

Do still like the team though and if it all goes pear shaped this year hope they stick with the core and add a few bits

I don't have the answer, we've lost our energy, confidence, decision making skills.

More prosaically our oomp, mojo - seems we have just run out of steam.

TBF we played 'well' for 13 months - Jan 21 - Jan 22 - no team plays well forever.

No bad spells last forever either - still 11 games left as the straw clutcher in me says!

Aw, don't worry - it's only a matter of wine before we get back to winning ways…

I think we had a very poor January window unfortunately, failed to strengthen in the areas we needed to and brought in a player in an area we absolutely did not need. Confidence seems shot, Dickie, Johanson and Austin have had collapses in form over the last 3-4 months
