The thing was that England had loads of good players at that point so I can't understand why the teams put out were so crap.
I can think of Beardsley, Barnes, Le Tissier, Walker, Pearce, Waddle, Hoddle?, Adams, Wright off the top of my head and most of them hardly played for England at that time for some reason. |  | | |
