wow we don't do easy and our media still moan, that gabriel clarke imo was near insukting to Tuchel and didn't like the response! we won another exhausting game in heat and humidity 42c pitchside was reported, that after mexico at altitude thin air and travel??
norway are decent, we have to realise most teams are competitive and are not walkovers and have not been for ages.
we ground out a win, and pickford and his poor kicking cost the goal and later he was nervy and gave away corners bringing them on and on . but held on got level, nearly had a 2nd, a pen ruled out , when can't a player shield the ball anymore? messi gets that all day long. and held out.
we now face cheats cheat cheats , yes FIFA next and their team ARGENTINA. we play var, refs, medias and 11 diving fouling screaming cheats who perfected the dark arts .

sky sports and media have to stop the norway is only Haaland show, it is not, they are a decent side with good players from top leagues all over europe and at top clubs.
earlier SSN did a long peice showing Haaland scoring lots of goals, great show some KAne, he scored 70 this season?

the fifa corruption dodgy dealing cup continues. a goal ruled off for a minor shirt pull ages before goal scored? yep fifa love argentina for some reason , it was brazil before them .
well maybe time for UEFA to do their cup every 2 years and invite 'others" and stick 2 up to infancy and co!!
re fans i wonder how many in grounds at finals went to qualifying matches? im sure a load of england did but those in stadia do not look like they would travel in winter to some far flung place not even on a map! |

i would have fancied us v a poor brazil team, compared to many other of their teams over the years.
norway will be tough but we know them, they do not dive, cheat roll about , we know their players and it should be a tough test, it should be it is a world cup QF
for any scots/welsh fans, this is when your team wins games and you move thru the cup and do not come home on a day return ticket!
v mexico, that was a HISTORIC/DRAMATIC night a classic , all against us, weather, fans, altitude, fifa , refs the lot and we won! with 10 men for 30 plus mins
QF was the minimum we expect , as did germany , maybe holland but they are out and tonight spain or portugal pack their bags too. |

off issue but safety related, there was a major gas leak in soho 2 weeks ago, i was evacuated from home with one minutes notice !! my point being the chaos that followed , no immediate control, people just dispersed as no one told us where to go, then later police got locksmiths to force entry into homes to check gas levels , luckily some of us were nearby and brought keys etc and were allowed in with escort to open doors. a business told me they found their fire exit push bar did not work and a padlock chained around it so they were trapped ! not good at all, they did find another way out but this is not good.
even in modern times safety is a bye word . how long for the grenfell report to be released and maybe someone to be arrested for it? |

how did belgium get that penalty? if it takes 7 mins to review, it is NOT CLEAR AND OBVIOUS error
and based on that do we appeal kane's yellow card? he was fouled, it should have been a pen and no card???
thought ref last night was man marking our midfield, he was always in the way as we got to DR Congo box!! |

mexico arrive at most world cups top 10 rated and feared then do little, they are in a easy qualifying region, so do paly brasil, argentina etc they play usa and jamaica .
the heat and altitude are a factor , so retaining the ball and using it wisely will be really vital for team England , we just do not want to be chasing shadows it will exhaust us .
maybe think of younger legs in team? ie Mainoo quite rested and decent enough.
getting a back 4 balanced and right is the biggest task imo. or dare we try 3-5-2 ? |

ok after the dust settles and euphoria of a big win for England, pickford does my nut in, beaten at near post and got a hand on it but it went in, deflected or not? spence drawn out of position and left 2 on 1 , where were his other back 3? all game o'reilly went wandering too .
that back 4 was a mess . rice had to draw deep from the well .spence has an attitude imo, he got frank sacked at spurs when he refused to shake hands etc and ignored manager, do i take him to a world cup, based on a few prem games? no.
tuchel wanted him to take a throw in forwards, he went back and tuchel flew into him and spence instantly stopped and imo sulked , we were still 1-0 down and needed to get forward.
congo exceeded all expectations, did not low block and hit post, at 2-0 we were in doo doo but we broke and how we never get a pen i will never know ( bear in mind how lucky belgium were later at 2-2 and a 7 min var review fora minimal contact) . once we got level congo dipped, their goalie was motm then KANE blew the roof off , wow! a saviour indeed . it is a win. it seems the 3-4 day turnaround to mexico , england have decided we won't acclimatize anyway so will go there late and just cope? at altitude . gonna be tough. we have to keep possession and take any chances we get |

so a poor germany on the day are out, so to the dutch both on pens! yep it hurts doesn't it?
a poor Brazil scraped thru , what gets me is Casemiro went down as soon as clock went up for 6 added and stayed down, unless a head injury ref should play on or get him off, they made a sub, took three mins and scored in that added added time?! |

as for panama game, we won, topped our group unbeaten with a plus 4 goal diff , 2 clean sheets and are thru.
you can only beat what is in front of you.
we created more chances and should have had more, rashford had a good game, saka too had chances , we do not look that solid at the back but one match at a time, it is a game of 2 halfs 2 breaks and whatever time is added |

james out, am i harsh but he has struggled all season and before that , why did they risk him? he has only played 2 games in arow for chelsea once since march!!
