Gutted that he's gone. I reckon he had another year at the top - he's never been about pace and still has a great eye for a pass and dictated our play from deep. If Murphy was off his game or the opposition were in his face, we often struggled to establish any rhythm. A very clever player and one of the best passers of a ball I've seen down at Fulham.
Not sure if him and his Missus fancied being back in the North-West or whether he wanted guaranteed game time, but we'll miss him. To what degree all depends who we get in as a replacement, I guess. Maybe we'll see more of Gecov in that role. |  |

Seems to be a revered figure at Fulham. If he had come to QPR I wonder how he would have settled, this late in his career. Let's see how he gets on at Blackburn. |  |
