More seriously - a few counter thoughts:
- The window isn't over yet. We could still pick up a defender / CM from other UK teams. Plus, Amos can revert to CM now, and I still think there is a player there somewhere for that position
- BOS is going. If not now, then next summer. It's no bad thing to be ready for that, even if it is maybe 8 months or so too early
- With the more compact season I'd think having a few options in the attacking 4 is more important than ever. One injury to BOS/Chair and we're looking light again
- On Chair, I think and hope that some of these signings can relieve the expectation / requirement for him to step up and be the next Eze. That sort of pressure isn't always helpful
PS - Cousins was a very good signing at the time.
