I know these 'just back" threads are not so important or illuminating these days, as many of you have watched a live stream. But for any of you who haven't had the displeasure of today's match, what a complete horror show our team put on. It was so abject at times that it was almost unbelievable. Wigan were absolutely average but that's all they needed to be to beat our shower of shame. Clive will not need any marks above 5(but I know he will hand the odd 6 out, maybe to Lumley,Scowen and possibly Luongo) but really there should be some 3s and 4s in his ratings.
The defending for the goals had to be seen to be believed, Eze couldn't make a five yard pass, Wells had a stinker which included missing a one on one because of terrible touch, Freeman sulked and moaned throughout, the referee was pants, Wszolek was anonymous.........
I could list other bits of crap but I can't be arsed, a bit like our team at the moment.
As for Tuesday, we are not favourites and Pompey should be expecting a win if we don't buck our ideas up.
Whatever Mcclaren says ignore him, we were pathetic today.

What an unbelievably poor game that was. 2 teams at the top(ish) end of the table scrabbling around in midfield for 100 minutes. My cat could've played in goal for both sides and the score would've been the same. I don't think we touched the ball in their box and lumley didn't have a save to make in ours - bar the goal.
I know I said this in my Blackburn match report, but this is meant to be entertainment- well today was bloody abysmal.
And I know it's been said elsewhere, but Matt smith as an impact sub is the biggest waste of space in football history, unless he's in the box waiting for a cross. Which there is no point waiting for because we don't do crosses when smith is on the pitch. It's so frustrating, when we keep repeating the same shitty mistakes.
We defended really well today but going forward we were garbage, and that is when loads of our main men had the previous weekend off.
We were worried about the ref, because he's usually pants, but once again, my cat could've refereed today- not one meaningful decision was needed. He only added 3 minutes and I'm not sure we even played that amount.
Just a completely rubbish afternoon, which as always was saved by the company and friendship of fellow qpr supporters and some damn fine beer.

Apparently England played and won today! I had absolutely no idea game was taking place- says a lot, that would never happen with qpr 😀

They really are scraping the bottom of the barrel on Wednesday. All that crappy champions league crap on multiple channels and they go up against with qpr at home to wall! But my main concern is finding a pub in Manchester to watch it when both City and united are playing.
Absolutely no chance

Yannick Bolasie ( Everton paid 25 mil for him) Now Chelsea's Tammy Abraham has joined on loan.
These 2 have had great success in prem league, Villa trying to buy league, hope they fail like last year😡

Eze and Furlong have signed new deals, Freeman didn't leave even when a reasonable fee was offered. We haven't become involved in auctions of rising players wages. We probably haven't tossed money away in agents fees and we have taken some big earners of the wage bill.
But people still bleat about a lack of signings when it appears we are being prudently managed with a medium to long term view being take.
Worst of all Hoos, Fernandes etc are being abused left right and centre. Are people effing nuts?
At least this way QPR might be around to support for the foreseeable 👍

Probably a fair result looking at balance of play and chances created. Thought we did ok considering injuries and team available. On another day we might have fallen apart after their third as they looked like scoring at will but we held out and nearly grabbed a late equaliser but that would've been harsh on boro
Boro are a huge team and moved the ball well in the final third really dragging our defense(especially Furlong) out of position. But they were really dodgy at the back and one of their defenders could've got a red card when he blocked off manning in the 1st half.
Thought Smithies and Baptiiste were excellent with Luongo and Freeman not far behind.
A brave and at times exciting effort and so much better than those drab away efforts from last year.
