This is good news, hopefully the ticket prices remain at a level that continues this trend upwards.

I thought it was a good speech got me pumped up for the 2nd half, as for the Leeds fans what can you say that has not already been said about them. To be honest I hardly heard them last night probably due to how loud we were and that we bossed the game.

Has stepped up and shown his experience in the run in. Still worries me with those silly yellow cards like last night and against Preston, but he has shown real quality and played well last night. Hope we sign Hayden in the Summer he brings a calming influence into proceedings as well.

Willock - Will He Stay?

Willock has got his mojo back, links up really with Andersen. Interesting to see if he signs up to a new deal or will he move on as we suspect?

Yes it is a bit strange with Frey, he did look pretty unfit since his arrival, maybe he is on a specific fitness programme to get him ready for next season.

Anderson on the win, the team, the crowd and staying up

He's brilliant one major reason since his signing that we have stayed up. Pleased he got his first goal at such an important time in the game.

Waking up Safe

Yes it was a special night for us last night. I felt confident about winning this game all day yesterday and the style of the win sets a good marker for next season. It was great in Loftus Road last night it just clicked something that has been missing for a long while and Marti is a genius we have a brilliant manager, give him a bit of money and we could be pushing much higher up the table next season. Nice feeling with it done and dusted today.

Was there a 12 year old me with my late Dad sitting in the Ellerslie Road stand. Great win on the Big Match and Norman Hunter split his shorts, fantastic stuff. Hopefully a 2-0 win for the Rangers tomorrow night.

Fantastic mullet worth his place in the team just for that, can see his flowing locks gliding passed the Leeds defence on Friday night.

Shocking player do not forget his needless foul to get sent off against Blackpool when we were one up at home, nearly cost us the game.

We are not safe!!!
at 08:46 23 Apr 2024

This league is so unpredictable especially this season. I take a little comfort that at home we have raised our game against the top 6 teams and Friday will probably fall into this category. If this was a game against a fellow relegation candidate think we would struggle. On a really positive note if we take ourselves back to the dark days of Ainsworth earlier in the season we were nailed on for relegation and so poor, we now look a decent team with the ability to grind out results, which I reckon we will do on Friday night.

Leeds look vulnerable at the back we just need to go for it.

We really need to go for it on Friday and get the win, always feel confident if we get ahead then likely to get a positive result. Must admit I don't fancy us having to win at Coventry on last day of the season to secure our safety.

Even my Mrs who has no real interest in football has said " Bloody VAR got a lot to answer for" , just about sums it up.

Think we all know Coventry are a very good team and hope they can win this. To be honest they should be in the play offs this season but this cup run has probably taken it out of them.

Andersen

If you mean Andersen then I am going to champion him as he is creative and I just like these types of players who have something about them and let's face it Marti knows his ability much more than us watchers do. On Paal he has an annoying knack of losing a challenge then going down and feigning injury done it a few times in his time with us and yesterday in 1st half nearly cost us, but to his credit has scored some vital goals i.e. Huddersfield. Again football is a bit of a subjective sport and sometimes we see what we only want to see if we like a player etc.

Agree if we can't do it against Leeds we need Huddersfield to beat Birmingham as I have a feeling that Sheff Wed may escape.

Agree Paal is a weak link, need to find a replacement for him next season. On Andersen which I started the post about again I see far too much negativity towards him, he has something about him that can make the game look easy and there is no doubt without his assists since joining we would be in a worse position. I just like these type of footballers always have just have something about them that makes the game enjoyable to watch, especially when something special happens.
